BlueBotics ANT® - setting the trend in autonomous navigation

Stöcklin automates forklifts

Creating market innovations with BlueBotics ANT® technology - that's precisely what the Swiss-based Stöcklin Group has succeeded in doing. For 80 years the Group has been a byword for smart logistics solutions that satisfy the most stringent requirements. Its 500 employees advise customers all round the world. Now, thanks to ANT® lite+, the new driving force in autonomous navigation for localization and control, Stöcklin has created its first automated forklift truck. Just three months after its world début at LogiMAT Stuttgart, ANT® lite+ is becoming a standard feature of automated ground conveyors. As Stöcklin's partnership with BlueBotics shows, there is a definite trend towards rapid installation, simple localization and optimum vehicle control at a competitive price.

New ANT® localization

The new andsubstantially smaller version of ANT® localization also sets new standards, as well as representing extremely good value for money. Designed for use in robotics platforms or automated guided vehicles, ANT® localization requires no additional infrastructure such as inductive wires or ground markings, it achieves a position accuracy of ±1cm and speeds of over 2.0m/s. For localization, the system takes data from its safety laser sensor, fixes the vehicle's position in its surroundings and reports the coordinates to the on-board computer. ANT® localization can be easily incorporated into any type of automated vehicle and can also be installed in manual forklifts for fleet tracking purposes.
