Industrial Robot Suppliers Group

The Industrial Robot Suppliers Group (IRSG) is an IFR working group supporting the IFR Statistical Department. They meet twice a year discussing the market relevant data for world-wide surveys, studies, statistics and other data on the world-wide use of robotics.

In March 2009 at their meeting in Barcelona the members elected Dr. Andreas Bauer, Head of Strategic Marketing, KUKA Roboter GmbH, Germany, as their new Chairman. He was already actively working on statistics matters in the IRSG. He followed Åke Lindqvist who was as President of IFR no longer eligible for this role.
