International Symposium on Robotics ISR

42nd ISR 2011 in preparation

ISR 2011 Logo"Now with ISR and ROBOTIK in Munich is behind us, the preparations for ISR 2011 is in full motion" says Jeff Burnstein, President of our member association RIA.

"Preparations for the 42nd International Symposium on Robotics are now well underway.  RIA is looking forward to hosting this event next March 21-24, 2011, during the Automate Show and Conference in Chicago, Illinois, USA.  Automate is collocated with ProMat, North America's largest material handling and logistics show.  Together we expect to attract some 35,000 pre-registrants.

The halllmark of the ISR is outstanding eductional content - as hosts, we pledge to provide it.  But, we need your help.  We are committed to offering sessions on the entire range of robotics, from industrial to service to cutting edge research.  We hope that you will consider giving a presentation or exhibiting so that it can truly reflect the latest advances and most exciting developments in our industry.  Even by just attending the ISR you add tremendous value to it, so we truly hope to see you in Chicago!

In addition to robotics, we'll also be covering related technologies such as machine vision and motion control.  As a speaker or a conference attendees, you'll have the chance to learn at educational sessions on these topics as well.  And, of course, everyone visiting Chicago will have a chance to visit the exhibit hall, which will be packed with exhibits from leading companies from throughout the world.

If you would like to give a presentation, please click here to submit your abstract. To exhibit at the show, or attend the conference or exhibits, please contact me directly at jburnstein@robotics.org or by telephone at +1-734/994-6088.  Our brand-new website for the event will be launched soon - the address is www.automate2011.org.  Currently the site only has information for exibitors, but shortly will have full details on the ISR and conference sessions."
